Peak oil generally refers to the point at which the worlds daily oil consumption exceeds its daily production output.

We've known about the concept of Peak Oil since the 50's but there is still much debate whether or not we have reached Peak Oil yet as it is so difficult to determine. Here we look at some of the issues surrounding Peak Oil and ask whether it's fact or fiction.
