Our latest customer survey data (August '09) shows buyacar achieving an impressive 93% customer satisfaction after an order for a new car has been made.
Our aim is to make buying a car easier - by helping you find the right car for you and taking the complexity out of the buying process. Obviously we're doing something right!
We ask all our customers to complete two different surveys - 1 after they have placed an order from us and another after their car has been delivered.
Here's the latest results from our After-sales customer satisfaction survey. This is sent to every customer that bought a car from buy a car - all the results are added together to give the totals you see below.
The results below were collected between April 2008 and August 2009. A total of 333 customers completed the survey.

Buyacar achieved an after-sales satisfaction level of 9.3 out of 10 - This can be broken down into a number of different areas:
This shows that we are consistently performing above 8 out of 10 in all the key performance areas - in most cases 9 out of 10.
Online part-exchanges: Getting a part-exchange valuation online is easy. If your car is worth something, we can tell you quickly online or for a full quote you can complete a condition report and our expert team will value your car.
Online car finance: You can also get car finance - start by using our quick quote - available as a feature when you get a quote on any new car, plus when you're happy with your new car details you can even apply for finance online!
Helpfulness of staff: We try to respond to all your questions promptly - feel free to call us about any aspect of the service and we will be happy to help.
Ease of making an enquiry: When you have created your quote online simply save it, along with your contact details and once you express your interest to continue we will contact you about your quote - alternatively you can continue online yourself and place your own order online.
We went a bit further into how our customers rated some of the key aspects of the buyacar service:
New Car Prices: Our customers are clearly happy with our excellent prices... these are updated in some way nearly every day. Manufacturers changes their prices roughly every 3 months, so with all the different cars there's a lot to do every day. We are constantly striving to find the best prices available to you across the UK. If you find somewhere cheaper let us know and we'll try to beat their price!
New Car Price Comparison: In comparison to other car sites our prices are rated as being excellent by 65% of customers. We try to provide excellent prices across the range of cars available in the UK but it's not always possible for every car - but we do try!
New Car Delivery times: Delivery times are at the mercy of manufacturers as we order your car from them. Most of the time delivery times fall within standard times, but sometimes manufacturers can delay or even speed up delivery times. Each manufacturer has different ways of building and delivering cars - we try to standardise this process for you so you don't have to worry about it. However, because we can't control delivery times sometimes deliveries fall outside expectations - we endeavour to keep you updated and let you know as soon as we get updates from the manufacturers.

Buyacar achieved an after-sales satisfaction level of 8.7 out of 10 - which is a testament to the hard work of the team to keep up to date with the latest information and keep our customers informed with regular updates.
Our sales service is clearly well liked by our customers - rating over 8 out of 10 in each area.
New Car Product Knowledge: As we offer thousands of different cars it's difficult to develop and in-depth knowledge of every car, but despite that we try to across our sales team. If one of the team doesn't know the answer to a question then someone else will. We strive to provide you with as much information about the new car so that you can browse all the information about new cars at your leisure.
Responsiveness: We are constantly trying to improve not only the communication channels between ourselves and our customers, but also with our dealers & suppliers so that we can be sure to keep everyone up to date with the latest information. We have launched a relatively new messaging service which allows all our customers to communicate with us online through their quote - messages are sent and received and recorded along with your quote so you can see the history of communication. Also, we now operate an SMS update service so you can receive updates to your mobile phone on the go.
New car enquiries: This May saw us launch our 'buy a car online' payment service. For the first time ever in the UK you can now fully specify and order any one of thousands of new cars online and order it, there and then, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Who would have thought you could buy a car online? Well now you can.
Our customer services offer consistently performs over 7 out of 10 as rated by the customers themselves!
Buyacar.co.uk customer services: We aim to explain the process of building & supplying cars to all our customers - right from the moment you order a car through to delivery. We endeavour to respond quickly to every enquiry. Where we struggle sometimes is in getting updates on the build of an individual car as it's hard to track exactly where a car is in the process of being built and delivered to the place where it's first registered and taxed.

Buyacar.co.uk part-exchange service: Even the complex process of organising the collection of someone's part-exchange scores nearly 9 out of 10. Buyacar offers a free part-exchange valuation service for any car - if you own it and want to know how much it's worth you can get a quick valuation online at any time. If you're interested in continuing with a full new car quote you can then fill out our part-exchange condition report. It's a health questionnaire for your car that allows us to value your car without seeing it - which means you can quickly get a full quote of how much it's going to cost to change from your used car to your brand new car.
Buyacar.co.uk deliveries: The delivery of your new car can be made to pretty much anywhere in the UK, but there may be charges to deliver to Scotland and Northern Ireland. Cars are driven by professional drivers employed by the manufacturers to deliver your car in perfect condition with only delivery mileage. This is the standard way of delivering new cars in the UK, however if you want a transporter delivery so that there is only factory mileage on your car you can pay extra. Either way, your car is delivered to you in mint condition following a pre-delivery inspection check by the manufacturer to make sure your car is ready to go.
Buyacar.co.uk payments: Payments can be made online 24/7 with our new online payment system, however you may want to transfer money directly from your bank when the car is ready to be delivered and your final balance is due. For full details on how payments work please see our payments help page.
