6. TRACKING YOUR ORDER

The Delivery Tracking section of your order form, viewable whenever you choose to log in to your ‘My Buyacar’ account, will be kept up to date with when your car is due to be delivered throughout the course of your order. If you have ordered a car to your own specifications, the likelihood is that we will have had to submit a factory order on your behalf- an average lead time for this would be around 8-10 weeks, although this is of course subject to the specific manufacturer and model.

We request regular updates on the progress of all of our orders from our suppliers, to ensure that the estimated delivery times we have quoted when ordering cars remain accurate. The vast majority of orders will be delivered in line with these estimates. On rare occasions, orders can overrun - we are at the mercy of the manufacturer in this regard, and should this occur, we will inform you via our email update service as soon as we can. Whenever you receive an email from our update service, this is also displayed in the Delivery Tracking section.

If you want to receive further updates on the progress of your order, you can also request this via the Delivery Tracking section – there will be a button entitled ‘Click to request a delivery update’, which will send a message to the team. You will shortly then receive an email acknowledging this request, followed by an update email once we have obtained this information from the manufacturer.
