FORD MONDEO 5-DOOR TITANIUM 2.0 TCDI, 140 BHP

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Nice and shiny and very lovely and new! So relieved to get it after such a long wait; we then took it for a ride and weren't disappointed at all.

GOOD POINTS

  • Wonderful diesel engine and gearbox
  • Cavernous boot space
  • Convers+ computer really good and easy to use
  • Handsome looks

BAD POINTS

  • Terrible reflection on windscreen from the centre console/air vent
  • All 4 windows occasionally decide to unwind when unlocked with remote control
  • Rainwater falls into the car when you open the doors (and apparently the boot)
  • Standard kit a bit mean, e.g no Aux input for mp3 player (on a 20,000 pound list price car!)

LASTING IMPRESSIONS

The glare on the windscreen is quite a distraction, other than that very happy with it; mpg has been c. 38, which isn't bad for a running in period (500 miles to date).
