Show some interest with these with 0% finance deals

Aug 3, 2018

When you take out finance on a car, there’s usually interest attached to it. This means that manufacturers make money from lending you money to buy the car.

Zero percent finance is offered on a decent amount of cars, and it ensures that you won’t pay any more money than if you would have bought the car outright. In other words, 0% finance deals allow you to buy the car outright for the price it’s advertised for.

Getting this rock-bottom rate does sometimes come at the cost of a hefty deposit, but BMW, Citroen, Ford, and even Maserati are all offering some their cars with 0% finance at the moment.

Generally, these are attached to Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) deals. With these deals you’ll typically pay a fixed monthly rate for two to five years, then at the end of this, you’ll have three options. You can return the car with nothing to pay, keep the car and pay what you owe, or, exchange the car for a new one.

A selection of deals work via Hire Purchase (HP) finance instead. This works in a similar way to PCP, but you’ll own the car at the end of the contract

Used cars with 0% finance

Generally, 0% finance deals aren’t offered on used cars. However, BuyaCar does offer low-rate PCP finance deals, typically at 7.9% representative APR.
