The Audi A6 is a stylish and practical large family car that’s a similar size to the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class saloon cars. If you’re looking for the best Audi A6 deals then read on to find out about each model and discover the top offers available currently.

The Audi A6’s best feature is its interior. It’s very high quality and feels more expensive than it actually is, with excellent materials and lots of high-tech features. Whether some desirable features are included is dependent on which trim level you pick, and you can find out more about what equipment is included below.

The A6 is roomy too, with lots of space in the back seats. There’s an estate version called the Audi A6 Avant, which has a huge boot that’s perfect for families with dogs or those who like to carry bikes or buggies in the back. There’s also an Audi A6 Allroad version, which has four-wheel drive and is a bit higher off the ground as well.

If you'd value the four-wheel drive but don't want something that looks a little like an off-roader, you can also get 'Quattro' versions of the standard A6, which feature all-wheel drive to provide improved grip on slippery surfaces.

The Audi A6 is good to drive, comfy enough and the engines are efficient and quiet on the motorway. There are sporty versions called the S6 - which uses a large, powerful diesel engine - and the Audi RS6, which has an even more powerful V8 petrol engine and sporty suspension upgrades - but we’re focused on the normal A6 models here.

If you’ve decided that the Audi A6 is the car for you, read on for all the best deals on the Audi A6 in Sport, S line, Black Edition, Vorsprung and Allroad specifications.

Audi A6 Sport deals

You can save plenty of money even on an entry-level Audi A6 Sport when looking at nearly new or used versions. Brand new Sport models cost from around £39,000.

There’s a good range of engines: two 2.0-litre petrol versions, a 2.0-litre diesel, a 3.0-litre diesel and a 3.0-litre petrol. The latter two engines are smooth and powerful but the smaller units are more frugal and have plenty of performance for most drivers.

The entry-level Audi A6 Sport is well equipped, with 18-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights as standard. Other external kit includes a black grille, roof rails on Avant models and even LED indicator lights.

On the inside, there are leather seats that are heated and have four-way lumbar support, plus a 40:20:40 split-folding rear bench. You get a multifunction steering wheel, two-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a front centre armrest and an auto-dimming main mirror.

In terms of technology, there’s an excellent 8.8-inch touchscreen media system matched to an 8.6-inch display right below it on the centre console. The dual-screen display includes sat-nav with online updates, traffic info, 10GB of storage space for songs, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a digital radio.

Safety gear is strong too, with autonomous emergency braking (AEB) included as standard, plus lane departure warning, cruise control, parking sensors, a rear-view camera, keyless go and ISOFIX child seat fixings.

Audi A6 S line deals

Move up to the Audi A6 S line and the starting price rises to around £42,000 when new, though you’ll be able to find substantial savings on that on BuyaCar. This model comes with extra equipment, as you’d expect, and all the same engines are available.

This version comes with larger 19-inch alloy wheels and sports suspension, which is a little lower than the standard setup and gives the car a sportier feel. It also has Matrix LED lights with an auto-dimming function for safer driving at night, which enable maximum lighting of the road ahead while minimising the dazzling effect for oncoming drivers.

S line models have slightly different exterior styling, with different bumpers and side skirts, plus tinted rear windows and S line badges in certain places. Inside, there are sports seats with leather and Alcantara trim. These are electrically adjustable. You also get a leather steering wheel and stainless steel pedals with this trim level.

Audi A6 Black Edition and Vorsprung deals

The Audi A6 Black Edition comes next in the lineup and costs from around £44,000 when new. It’s not that different to S line, though you do get larger 20-inch alloy wheels, black trim pieces on the exterior, tinted windows and a flat-bottomed steering wheel.

Vorsprung is the top Audi A6 trim level and costs around £60,000 when new. As you’d expect, this version gets all the equipment you could want, starting with 21-inch alloy wheels as standard.

Vorsprung also comes with adaptive suspension, which allows you to switch between driving modes to choose how stiff you would like the car to feel. There’s also all-wheel steering which helps make the turning circle tighter and helps with parking (this isn’t available on the 2.0-litre diesel model).

There’s a panoramic sunroof, upgraded LED headlights, powered closing doors, full leather upholstery, a head-up display (which beams driving information onto the windscreen in front of the driver), four-zone climate control, ambient lighting in more areas and heated rear seats as well as heating for the fronts. There’s also sportier front seats than in other models.

One of the central touchscreen displays is upgraded to 10.1 inches across and comes with upgraded software to match including features such as Google Earth. There’s also a 12.3-inch high-definition digital display behind the steering wheel, wireless phone charging and a Bang & Olufsen stereo system.

Safety equipment includes adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, blind spot assist, cross-traffic assist and a self-parking system.

Audi A6 Allroad deals

The Audi A6 Allroad is a special version of the Audi A6 Avant (estate), which sits in between an ordinary estate car and an off-roader, with raised ride height and four-wheel drive. It comes in Sport and Vorsprung trim levels with the same level of equipment as above, but with certain extras unique to the Allroad model.

Air suspension is standard on Sport models in the Allroad range, as is a power-operated tailgate. Vorsprung models come with a different interior on Allroad models and there’s a different set of alloys as well (but still 21 inches) and black roof rails. Both versions of the Allroad come with plastic wheel arches and other cladding that makes them look more rugged.

You can only get the A6 Allroad with powerful 3.0-litre engines, which are available in petrol and diesel incarnations.
