Best used 2017-present Citroen C3 PCP finance deals

The Citroen C3 is an affordable and stylish small car. Here are the best deals available at the moment and our take on which is best

The Citroen C3 is a small car that has plenty of appeal for those looking for a stylish and good-value model that’s of a similar size and price to a Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Polo.

The Ford is very mainstream and the Volkswagen is a little on the plain side, so the French chic of the Citroen C3 is certainly a good selling point. The exterior looks are definitely distinctive, and if you love the styling then you’ve come to the right place to get a great deal.

The C3 is one of the most comfortable small cars and it comes with a good selection of efficient engines, so it’s easy to drive and cheap to run. It’s not very exciting to drive but if you don’t mind that then the C3’s pleasant cabin and comfy seats could tempt you away from the more mainstream options.

The Citroen C3 is a totally different car from the Citroen C3 Aircross, which is a small SUV that’s a similar size to a Seat Arona. The cars share some parts, but the C3 Aircross is more expensive and rides higher, yet it is also a bit more practical.

Look out for the late 2020 update model, which has slightly different headlights (the grille trim runs into the headlight on the newer model, and is separate on the earlier cars). These versions have different trim level names: Sense, Shine and Shine Plus. Earlier cars use Feel, Flair Plus and Origins names for the trim levels. Note that car manufacturers change trim levels regularly, and Citroen has already swapped out several trims since the 2020 update.

Read on for all the best Citroen C3 deals and for a rundown of what is included in each model, to help you decide which version is right for you.

Citroen C3 Feel deals

The Citroen C3 Feel cost from around £16,000 when new, and came with either a 82hp petrol engine or a 100hp diesel engine, both of which were only available with a manual gearbox. This was the entry-level trim.

Feel came with 16-inch alloy wheels, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, lane departure warning, climate control, and a seven-inch touchscreen media system.

Citroen C3 Origins deals

The Citroen C3 Origins was one step on from Feel and was only available with the 82hp petrol engine, and cost around £17,000 when new.

This version came with the rubber side panels that you’ll see on most of the pictures for the car, which look cool and protect it from parking bumps. It featured special colour combinations as well as an emergency call system, autonomous emergency braking, rear parking sensors and sat-nav as standard.

This sat-nav system came with a three-year subscription to TomTom for traffic info, but this will have less time left on it if you buy a used model.

Citroen C3 Flair (Plus) deals

The Citroen C3 Flair Plus model was available with the same engines as the Feel model, plus a turbocharged 110hp petrol engine with either a manual or automatic gearbox. This is the best engine in the C3 range - offering decent performance and fuel economy - so Flair Plus is our pick of the trim range. When new, this version cost around £19,000 with this engine.

This model came with a built-in dash-cam (a camera which records the road ahead, so you have a record, in case you are involved in an incident and need to provide evidence of what happened), sat-nav, a leather steering wheel, a reversing camera, tinted windows and all the other equipment found on Feel models.

Citroen C3 Shine (Plus) deals

If you move up to a Shine model then you get a contrasting roof colour, 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers and rear parking sensors. This version is available with more engines.

There’s the 82hp petrol, a 100hp diesel and the 110hp turbocharged petrol in either manual or automatic form. Shine trim started at about £16,000 when new.

There’s also Shine Plus, which adds 17-inch alloy wheels, tinted windows, sat-nav, more comfortable front seats, a front armrest, autonomous emergency braking, and a reversing camera. It’s available with all the same engines and started from about £18,000 when new.

Citroen C3 C-Series deals

When launched, C-Series was considered higher than Sense and Shine, despite its lower price tag. Standard equipment included Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, rear parking sensors, and traffic sign recognition.

C-Series models, like much of the more recent C3 range, come with bright LED headlights, too. This model is only available with the lesser-powered 83hp 1.2-litre 'PureTech' petrol engine.

Citroen C3 Saint James deals

Citroen's most recent range-topping C3 is the Saint James version, which builds on what Shine models have to offer. A black or white roof comes as part of the bi-tone paintwork, along with bi-tione alloy wheels. Its most notable upgrade over Shine versions is the addition of a reversing camera.
