Fancy a super-stylish city car with a little less roof? Here are some of the best Fiat 500C convertible finance deals from £150 per month

The Fiat 500C is one of the smallest convertibles you can get and a rival to cars like the DS 3 Cabrio and Mini Convertible. It’s also one of the most affordable soft-tops, so it’s ideal if you want to make the most of the sunshine but still save your money for a rainy day

Despite being on sale for more than a decade, the chic styling and retro vibes combine to give the soft-top Fiat 500 a timeless appeal. Just in case you're in doubt, the C in Fiat 500C stands for convertible.

It’s not hard to, er… C the appeal, because the 500C offers all of the best bits of the standard Fiat 500 but with the benefit of a sliding fabric roof. Press a button, and the roof concertinas back electronically to bathe the car’s occupants in sunlight. It operates at speeds of up to 37mph, so there’s no need to panic if you get caught in a shower while on the move.

As you’d expect from such a small car, the Fiat 500C is great fun to drive in the city, with the light steering making parking a doddle. It’s also small enough to fit through the tightest gaps, while the peppy engines deliver good acceleration.

The 500C received a light makeover in 2015, with subtle tweaks to the styling, a new digital media display, different dashboard gauges, and improved upholstery. More recently, Fiat introduced a new mild hybrid variant, with even better fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions.

There’s a huge variety of trim levels on offer - Fiat is no stranger to special editions. We’ve selected eight of the most popular and newest models for our list of the best Fiat 500C deals. BuyaCar prices start from £141 per month, so the chances are you’ll find a 500C within your budget.

As the 500C was on sale for so many years, the equipment featured on specific used cars is likely to vary significantly depending upon when the car was made, which means it's a good idea to double check that any car you're considering has the essential kit you're after fitted. Read on to discover the best soft-top Fiat 500 deals.

Fiat 500C Pop deals

For the Fiat 500C in its simplest form, look no further than the Pop edition. Highlights include LED daytime running lights, a digital radio, USB port, and steering wheel audio controls. It’s pretty basic - you don’t even get air-conditioning or alloy wheels. However, when it comes to air-conditioning you may decide that there's no better way to cool down the cabin than simply sliding back the roof.

Let’s look at it another way. When it was new, the Fiat 500C cost £15,000, making it the cheapest convertible in the UK. This means it represents even better value if you go for a used version now. A 2015 example could cost less than the price of a new Dacia Sandero - the UK's cheapest new car.

You get the same electrically folding roof, chic styling, strong image, and peppy performance as a more lavishly-equipped model, but with more money left in your account. It’s a win-win situation.

Fiat 500C Connect deals

Connect is one of three mid-range trim levels launched in 2021. It cost £1,500 more than the entry-level Pop trim when new, but it feels like you’re getting so much more for your money - and the price differential should be a lot less than this with used models. Tech fans will love the seven-inch touchscreen media system with Bluetooth, USB port, a digital radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Other highlights include air-conditioning, cruise control, rear parking sensors, automatic windscreen wipers, automatic headlights, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, leather steering wheel, and 15-inch alloy wheels. You also get a sports kit featuring body-coloured bumpers, rear spoiler, side skirts, and chrome exhaust.

It’s one of the newest 500C models on the block, so the monthly payments are likely to be higher, but a car in Connect trim should be easier to live with than the cheaper Pop version, which could justify the price premium for you.

Fiat 500C Lounge deals

Until 2021, the Lounge trim was the second rung on the Fiat 500C trim ladder. It was one of the most popular models, so it should come as no surprise to discover that it’s the most common trim for used models on BuyaCar. Finding the right Lounge for you should be a comfortable experience.

It’s like the Connect trim with a different name, so you’ll find a seven-inch touchscreen media system, a USB port, digital radio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. You also get air-conditioning, 15-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, rear parking sensors, steering wheel audio controls, and chrome kickplates.

The difference between similar age 500Cs in Pop and Lounge trim could be as little as £10 per month. So unless you're on a super-tight budget, it's worth the additional expense.

Fiat 500C Sport deals

Fiat 500 Dash

Opting for the Sport trim feels like a significant upgrade, but the spec you can expect depends on when your Fiat 500C was registered. Put simply, Sport has shifted from mid-range to top spec over the years, so newer models come with more kit.

A 500C registered prior to the 2021 update should feature everything on the Lounge model, plus a sport steering wheel, 15-inch graphite colour alloy wheels, with matching graphite coloured exterior details, including door mirrors plus side skirts and a chrome exhaust.

The new Sport is more costly, but you get more kit for your money. Highlights include dark tinted rear windows, sports seats with 500S logo, 16-inch alloy wheels, sat-nav, and a full body kit. At around £19,000, it’s the most expensive new 500C you can buy, but look out for used bargains on BuyaCar.

Fiat 500C Star deals

Star by name, star by nature. The Fiat 500C Star offers the best blend of price and equipment, making it one of the most appealing 500C models you can get. It sat in the middle of the range until it was discontinued in 2021.

In addition to the seven-inch touchscreen media system, Star models also come with a seven-inch digital instrument panel. There’s a modern feel inside, with the benefit of 3D sat-nav and a leather steering wheel.

As with all the models on this list, we’d recommend the 500C Star with the excellent 0.9-litre 'TwinAir' engine. This petrol unit offers terrific performance, a sporty soundtrack, and excellent fuel economy if you drive it gently.

Fiat 500C Rockstar deals

Do you want to feel like a rock star behind the wheel? Aside from the many special editions rolled out over the years, the Rockstar trim was the Fiat 500C at its most lavish. It’s essentially a Star trim with some added glamour.

A sports bodykit, dark tinted rear windows, and additional satin trim are the highlights of the Rockstar, so it’s ideal if you fancy a little more bling. It’s worth noting that the 500C comes with a variety of optional extras, many of which will add little to the cost of used versions.

This means that if you can find a 500C with lots of extras included, you should be able to get these for only a small premium. Look out for some desirable options, such as a full leather interior, automatic climate control, metallic paint, and an upgraded audio system.

Fiat 500C Hey Google deals

The 500C Hey Google is a new special edition for 2021. It’s powered by a 1.0-litre mild hybrid engine, and as the name suggests, the emphasis is on some special Google connectivity and cosmetic upgrades.

It comes with the tech firm’s 'Hey Google' voice control system, which means you can connect to the car, while it’s parked, using your voice. You can do this via your smartphone or a Google Nest Hub, the latter of which is included with the car (so it's worth making sure this is included when picking up a used model).

The special edition also comes with a bespoke Hey Google interior, featuring unique black fabric seats with Google-themed inserts, plus Google badges on the exterior. It cost around £18,500 new, though you can expect used versions to be much more affordable.

Fiat 500C Dolcevita deals

The Fiat 500C Dolcevita invites you to live the good life. This former special edition is now part of the core range, so the specification you can expect depends on when the car was registered.

For models registered prior to the 2021 update, the spec included automatic climate control, 16-inch alloy wheels, wood on the dashboard, a striped roof, red exterior stripe, red leather seats, unique floor mats, and an array of other cosmetic upgrades. It cost a cool £21,000 when new, but you can expect to pay far less than that second-hand and you’re guaranteed to stand out from the crowd.

The new Dolcevita is more of a mid-range model - and the price reflects this - so it’s best to think of it as a 500C Connect with a less sporty appearance. New for 2021 is the Dolcevita Plus, which benefits from a seven-inch digital instrument panel, 3D sat-nav and 16-inch alloy wheels.
