The Kia Sorento is a seven-seat SUV, starting at £28,995. This GT Line-S version has 19in alloy wheels which makes the car less economical than the cheaper KX-1 which has smaller wheels.
-
Every Kia Sorento has tinted glass in the back, roof rails and rear parking sensors. The introduction of ‘GT-Line’ and ‘GT-Line S’ versions came in 2018, both of which have stainless steel side steps, and twin exhaust pipes.
-
Inside of GT-Line and GT-Line S trimmed cars, there are black leather seats with light grey stitching, a perforated leather-trimmed steering wheel and a bespoke design leather gearshifter.
-
There's very little on the Kia Sorento KX-4 that marks it out as the top-of-the-range car. From the driver's seat, though, you'll have a 360-degree view thanks to standard all-round cameras. Self-driving systems like adaptive cruise control and self-parking are also included.
-
The Kia Sorento's 360-degree all-round camera shows a bird's-eye view of the surroundings, which is useful when manoeuvring. It is only available on the KX-4 model where it is fitted as standard.
-
You'll know when you're driving the cheapest Kia Sorento KX-1 because there's just a radio in the middle of the dashboard, rather than a touchscreen.
-
Apart from the entry-level KX-1, all Kia Sorentos have an 8in touchscreen with sat-nav.
-
There's space for three adults to sit comfortably in the Kia Sorento's middle row of rear seats. Two of the seats also have Isofix mounts for child seats
-
With all three rows of seats up to accommodate seven passengers, there's little bootspace in the Kia Sorento.
-
With the two rear rows of seats folded down in the Kia Sorento, there's a vast amount of luggage space.
-
The Kia Sorento KX-4 and KX-3 have an electrically-powered panoramic sunroof
