Mercedes ownership could cost much less than you might think. We’ve rounded up the best Mercedes PCP deals from only £150 a month

Mercedes has long been associated with desirable, stylish and luxurious cars that many people could only dream of owning themselves. The problem is, the badge comes with a price tag that is out of reach for most people, forcing them to take a cheaper option instead.

If you look at it from a monthly cost perspective, though, a used Mercedes is actually surprisingly affordable. There are currently 3877 Mercedes models for sale on BuyaCar, and prices start at a very reasonable £160 per month on PCP finance. Even if you're looking for something that's less than a year old, a Mercedes could be yours for as little as £193.

A quick comparison shows that a Mercedes A180d will cost around the same as a Ford Focus diesel. That puts the choice in your hands. Would you rather have a popular car from a mainstream brand? Or a far more upmarket model with a Mercedes badge on the bonnet?

From used to nearly new to brand new models, BuyaCar has a range of Mercedes for sale at a range of prices to suit most budgets. We've rounded up the best Mercedes PCP finance deals available now, whether you're on a tight budget or have more cash to splash on something more exotic.

2020 Mercedes PCP offers

Best Mercedes A-Class PCP deals

The Mercedes A-Class might be the cheapest way into modern Mercedes motoring but it very much looks and feels up to scratch. In 2013, Mercedes launched a new A-Class and swapped from an MPV-style look to a more conventional hatchback - and the it's all the better for it. And the more recent version, launched in 2018, upped the standards even further with its sleeker shape.

As stylish as it is on the outside, it’s inside where the real benefits of the latest A-Class can be felt. With glossy black materials and modern design, the A-Class oozes sophistication. It has a lot of slick technology too, like large media displays, voice control and sat-nav, those as some of these were optional, you'll want to check that any car you're considering has the kit you're after. It won’t drive with the same precision as a BMW 1 Series, but it’s still very comfortable and refined and doesn’t cost a lot to run.

Best Mercedes B-Class PCP deals

Based on a hatchback but with a bit more headroom, the B-Class is a compact people carrier that makes a great family car. Practicality is its USP, and there’s no shortage of space in the B-Class, from a big boot to plenty of room in the rear seats for adults.

It’s nicely designed inside too, and from 2014 cars came with more tech such as Apple CarPlay and a range of online connectivity services. As with the A-Class, a sleeker, more high-tech version was launched in 2018. The B-Class is not a car that’s particularly fun to drive, but it rides smoothly and, despite its size, doesn’t lean over too much in corners.

Best Mercedes C-Class PCP deals

The Mercedes C-Class is an upmarket medium car and is available as a saloon or an estate. Whichever you choose, the C-Class is a stylish-looking and modern car with plenty of tech and safety features. In 2018, the C-Class was updated, bringing a 10.3-inch touchscreen media system and sat-nav as standard.

Mercedes also launched the C200 as a mild hybrid, which reduces emissions and gives a boost in power, so you may want to track down this version. The C-Class has a good range of fuel efficient and powerful petrol and diesel engines and on the road it’s supremely smooth and refined.

Best Mercedes SLC PCP deals

The SLK is a popular two-seater roadster that’s been around for more than 20 years. Unlike some rivals, the SLK has always come with a metal folding-hardtop roof, making it feel really secure and quieter inside than a traditional convertible.

In 2016, the SLK was renamed SLC to fit in with Mercedes' new naming convention but despite the new name this was more of an update than a complete overhaul. As such, the SLC misses out on some of the tech of rivals but there is a media display and phone connectivity. Despite its sporty styling, the SLC isn’t the most thrilling car to drive but as a result, comfort levels are high.

Best Mercedes GLA PCP deals

Based on the previous A-Class, the GLA is Mercedes’ smallest SUV and has chunky styling, a raised ride height and SUV-style cladding to give it a more rugged look. Just don’t expect to do too much off roading in it: the GLA is a classic case of style over substance. The GLA was replaced in early 2020 with a more high-tech model, but this is good news for used buyers as it means prices for the older version should begin to drop more quickly getting you more for your money.

Four-wheel drive is available on all but the cheapest Sport model, and this gives you welcome grip in slippery conditions, but the GLA doesn’t have as much ground clearance as rivals which limits how far you can take it off road. Inside, the GLA is spacious, comfortable and well designed, with a large media screen, chrome air vents and phone connectivity.

Best Mercedes E-Class PCP deals

From £200 per month, the E-Class is an exceptional car for the money. This is about the price you’d pay for a new small Hyundai hatchback or budget SUV, but the E-Class feels much more sophisticated. This is a big car and it’s got plenty of space inside for people and luggage and comes with lots of slick kit such as leather seats, sat-nav and a reversing camera.

In 2017, the E-Class was updated to include more safety features and new engines that are more efficient and frugal. The E-Class is available as an estate or a saloon and all versions are wonderfully luxurious and refined to drive, if not the sportiest cars to drive.

Best Mercedes CLS PCP deals

Despite its sporty styling, the CLS isn’t actually all that much fun to drive. Instead, this is a car that pampers and shelters you from the outside world. Luxurious and classy inside, smooth and refined to drive and surprisingly frugal if you opt for the diesel, the CLS is a limo that looks like a sports car.

It might have a curved roofline, but it isn’t wanting for space, with plenty of room for adults in the rear seats. Just bear in mind that although there is space for five, the person stuck in the middle rear seat might not be so comfortable.

Best Mercedes GLC PCP deals

The GLC is the mid-sized SUV in the Mercedes range and it’s one of the best-looking cars in this crowded class. There’s also a more sportily-styled GLC Coupe that has a lower roofline but isn’t as practical. Inside, the GLC is on par with rivals for space and it’s got a big enough boot and interior space to make this a fantastic choice for families.

There’s also a powered tailgate as standard, a 10-inch touchscreen media system and a raft of top-class safety features. While some rivals are more exciting to drive, the GLC is better suited to wafting along in comfort. It’s not bad off road, either, though it's no Land Rover.

Best Mercedes GLE PCP deals

This used to be called the M-Class years ago, but as part of Mercedes’ new naming strategy it’s been renamed GLE to show where it sits in the range. It is a large SUV that takes all the refinements you’d expect of Mercedes and puts them in a package that’s very spacious, luxurious and comfortable. Inside, its leather seats, soft-touch materials and sophisticated tech makes the GLE feel very upmarket indeed.

As we’ve seen elsewhere with Mercedes models, what they lack in driving engagement they more than make up for in on-the-move elegance and comfort. If you go for the smaller diesel engines, you’ll be amazed at how fuel efficient they are, while four-wheel drive means they make great tow cars that can venture further off road than you’d expect.

Best Mercedes S-Class PCP deals

For the last word in luxury, the S-Class is hard to beat. Only a Rolls-Royce or Bentley comes close to matching the elegance of this large Mercedes saloon. The S-Class has long been a test bed for the latest Mercedes tech and as such it’s got all the bells and whistles, and then some.

For such a big car, it actually handles corners really well but it’s much better at gliding between destinations in total comfort. The best place to be is in the back seats, where you'll feel like you're sitting in business class on a plane. There’s loads of leg room and you can adjust the seats to find the most relaxing position.

Best Mercedes SL PCP deals

From Beverly Hills to St Tropez, the Mercedes SL is the sports car of choice for the world’s rich and famous - though comfort is higher on the agenda than all-out sporty driving ability.

It’s a two-seat convertible that’s been around in different incarnations since the 1970s and exudes a level of sophistication and luxury that masks its otherwise lacklustre driving ability. This is a car for wafting gracefully from sports club to lunch date.

That's not to say it's slow though, oh no. Even the most watered down version comes with a 3.0-litre V6 engine producing 367hp and a 0-62mph time of 4.9 seconds. Suffices to say your need for speed will be well catered for here, too.
