Cars with Android Auto

Android Auto is a simple, safe, and legal way of using your phone in your car. These are the cars with Android Auto

While some manufacturer-backed software is intuitive, and easy to use, they’re very rarely as user friendly as the stuff that comes with your phone.

You’re also on your phone all the time, so you know it like the back of your hand. Android Auto gives you instant control of some of your favourite apps via your car’s touchscreen - all you need to do is connect your phone.

We’ve highlighted some of the best cars with Android Auto below, and have a thorough list of cars sold in the UK with Android Auto further down.

Best cars with Android Auto

Volkswagen Golf

The Golf is a brilliant all-rounder, and highly regarded among owners. It features a system called App Connect, which offers MirrorLink, Apple Car Play, and, Android Auto.

Mercedes A-Class

Mercedes’ new A-Class relies on its magnificent entertainment interface to win over potential buyers. Top-spec cars get twin 10.25-inch screens, which sit next to each other to make a widescreen. Mercedes’ interface is brilliant, but using Android Auto on it at least brings your own music and whatsapp messages.

Volvo XC90

The XC90 is one of the best cars in its class, offering massive amounts of space, and a handsome but simple Scandinavian design. Its intuitive and easy to use nine-inch portrait style display houses Android Auto too - and it looks great on such a lovely screen.

Ford Mondeo

Sync 3, Ford’s connectivity system, is a standard option on all Mondeos. It includes the use of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay - in what is a solid effort from Ford.

Honda NSX

It’s definitely one of the fastest cars out there with Android Auto - which is quite befitting of a supercar crammed with so much technology. Not as practical as the cars above, though.
